Music CLIC

"Music CLIC" Seminar

Music - a common language for intercultural communication  |   25. - 29.09.2021

In the Erasmus funded project “Music CLIC” we see music as a tool for social inclusion, the promotion of creativity and an impetus to reflect on diversity and similarities. Music as a tool in youth work has the potential to give young people space for cultural, emotional and intellectual expression.
In “Music - a common language for intercultural communication”, 25 participants from Germany, Italy, Sweden, Turkey and Denmark experience the power of music as a means of communication, intercultural understanding and social inclusion. The participants exchange ideas about regional musical styles and talk about their experiences in youth work in order to bring both fields together in a creative way.
By making music together, the seminar stimulates positive attitudes towards cultural forms of expression and strengthens the development of teamwork and interpersonal skills.

The goals of the project are
• Discovering music as a means of creating social impact
• Exchange of cultural goods through non-formal music education
• Recognition of music as a teaching method in youth work
• Promotion of intercultural communication in the European Union
• Promotion of skills of skilled youth work in intercultural
Communication, intuitive music education and improvisation
• Increasing the active participation of young people in the European Union
• Strengthening intercultural understanding and a sense of European
identity
• Opening up new perspectives on personal resources (skills, passion,
Talents)
